Long-Covid, Internal Agency, Circadian Reset
Seeking alternative ways to treat the cognitive impact from long COVID led me to my first experience in the Harmonic Egg® at Vitality Room in Windham. It offered me something I didn’t even realize I needed: an elegant, immersive space where music moved through my whole body in a way that let me relax from the inside out. I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced that kind of full-body release before.
Not to mention the actual environment itself - enter, instant relax switch - muscle memory on the way reminds me I get reprieve soon. Michelle keeps it meticulously clean in physical and energetics. My system feels safe and held in her space - truly rare for me to find.
Fifty minutes of that, once a week guaranteed relaxing safe alone time, that feels like the bare minimum that my system deserves.
Since my sessions focus mainly on nervous system resets, I have noticed a shift in my jumpiness, less startle, more internal agency. I felt it and continue to feel it. I am also under the suspicion that it is resetting my circadian rhythm since I’m naturally waking up much earlier and ready for my day. Loving that. I look forward to every session.
